Blades
The Savannah® Road Master Grader comes equipped with the SANDVIK System 2000® blades. The SYSTEM 2000® road grading maintenance system was developed to improve performance and productivity. The System 2000® gives you:
- Lower Grading Cost
- Increased Productivity
- Negligible Downtime
- Improved Road Surface
- Reduced Gravel Cost
Sandvik blades cut through the washboards instead of scraping them as a conventional blade does. The washboards and potholes are actually cut out instead of just being filled in with loose material. This process substaintially reduces the reoccurrence of those problems.
On gravel roads, gravel settles to the bottom of the road bed. System 2000® brings larger gravel particles to the top of the road surface. Often, the retrieved gravel in the bottom of the road beds and from the shoulders, means little or no additional material is needed saving both time and money.
Standard motor grader blades can be cut to the proper width and mounted to the grading arms if you prefer.
