Mounted Grader 1507M
Designed to mount with CAT II and Cat III 3 point lift systems on 4 wheel drive agriculture tractors, the 1507M is very compact, and because it is possible to transfer some of the tractor’s weight to engage the blades of the grader, it can be very aggressive and efficient. It is only 9 feet long, so turning is considerably faster than trailing and conventional motor graders. The basic operation of this machine is similar to the 1506. Since the machine is engaged with the tractor’s lift system, there is very little maintenance required. The 1507M will run ideally on 90 hp or greater wheel tractors.
The 1507M was first introduced in 2007 with a V-Blade for shedding larger river rock that tends to lift as the blades reclaim the original road surface. A packer wheel attachment will soon be available as a valuable option for this simple, yet effective machine. Just like the 1506, this grader is an extremely efficient machine for building fire-breaks.
